3d Golf Game © 2007. Using C++ and openGL for high-performance realtime 3d graphics (over 100 fps), this fast-action golf game was programmed to suit the needs of our client's multiplayer tournament game client. A visual swing strength meter was devised so that players could aim and swing with one click of the mouse. The terrain was sculpted using heightmaps in 3d studio max 9, and through a careful process of .bsp optimization the landscape was populated with hills and trees, all modeled in three dimensions. Users can view the golf course from any camera angle to line up the perfect shot.
