3d Chat Room © 2007. A 3d chat room than ran in any web browser. Programmed in Director using javascript, this 3d shockwave chat room was used for marketing purposes during a motorcycle festival. Users from around the world could select an avatar and walk around a fully three dimensional city where they could see each other and chat. The chat server was programmed in PHP and used mySQL for database storage on the server, and the shockwave game was created in a way that required a very tiny download for fast performance.
