Phalanx Load Optimization Graphics © 2005 by Orangeview Online Productions. I programmed a three dimensional realtime display for a shipping logistics business. This windows application displays a realtime 3d graphic of the contents of a truck container and pallets. The view can be rotated in any direction, zoomed in, and saved as a .jpg image file as well as printed or print previewed. Each truck can contain thousands of drums, boxes, chests, bags, crates and cartons, and each item is rendered using openGL for extreme performance at over 50 frames per second. This display program was used for the visualization of large shipments where the placement of each item could save money through more efficient packing.
