SalmonRun.zip © 2005 Orangeview Online Productions. A realtime underwater 3d simulation of schools of fish. Fish attempt to follow their closest neighbours, while avoiding collisions, just like real schools of sea creatures that seem to move as a group. With this software you can watch the beautiful swimming motion of animated 3d fish from the bottom of the ocean.
Written in C++ using openGL, this realtime 3d simulation features water caustics (reflections on the seafloor), particle systems (air bubbles), god-rays (beams of light), dynamic LOD Bezier curves (the undulating sandy terrain geometry), and BOIDS (the ai algorithm for flocking fish movement).
Are you working on a project that could use our 3d simulation, artificial life and AI programming skills? We invite you to email us for a free estimate. Orangeview Games provides game development services for clients.
